Belvedere

In the late 90's we met these Canadian boys on some local shows. Due to their very tight, hyper melodic, super catchy punkrock played on warp speed they were a hit in the scene. Their record got re-released in 2004 by Funtime Records and they played at Groezrock. A year later they decided to quit. The spin off of Belvedere, This Is A Standoff, also ended up in the Funtime family, so they were never really gone. Now our buddies from Calgary are back in their original formation. Let's rock this place!

Ergens eind jaren negentig liepen we deze toen piepjonge Canadese gasten tegen het lijf op enkele lokale shows. Met hun retestrakke, hypermelodieuze en supercatchy punkrock, gespeeld op warp-snelheid, sloegen ze behoorlijke gensters in de scene. Hun plaatje werd heruitgebracht door Funtime Records en ze kwamen in 2004 op Groezrock spelen. Een jaar later besloten ze echter om ermee op te houden. De afsplitsing van Belvedere, This Is A Standoff, kwam ook terecht in de warme Funtime-stal. Echt weg zijn ze dus nooit geweest. Nu komen onze buddies uit Calgary in originele formatie terug.
