Last year Counterpunch from Chicago released 'Heroes And Ghosts/Dying To Exonerate The World' on Go-Karts Records and what an album it was! Powerful, emotional, catchy, raw melodic skatepunk hardcore or whatever you want to call it. These guys can live up to Rise Against, Atlas Losing Grip or A Wilhelm Scream! They'll be playing in Belgium for the first time and straight at Groezrock. Counterpunch has got it all to become a regular. Sometimes you'll hear a new punkrock band that gives you a kick like the Epitaph and Fat Wreck bands did in the 90's: Counterpunch is such a band!

Stevige, pakkende, catchy en rauwe skatepunk-melodic hardcore of hoe je het ook moet noemen. Deze gasten kunnen zo mee met Rise Against, Atlas Losing Grip of A Wilhelm Scream! Voor het eerst in België en meteen op Groezrock. Counterpunch heeft dan ook alles om een toekomstige terugkomer te worden. Soms duikt er nog eens een nieuwe punkrockband op die je dezelfde kick geeft als die eerste nineties Epitaph en Fat Wreck bands: zo is Counterpunch er eentje!
