Tim Armstrong, Lars Frederiksen, Matt Freeman, each of them a punkrock legend! Finally Rancid comes to Groezrock! It’s their first show in mainland Europe since 2003 and only their 5th show in Belgium ever. Surprisingly though, it is their second time in Meerhout as they famously played here at the Apollo Rock festival in 1996. They’re back with a new album and an extensive playlist full of classics to celebrate their 20th birthday, and we’re proud as fuck to be able to throw them this monster of a party. So let’s all strap on our boots, put up our mohawks… and out come the wolves!

Het is hun eerste Europese show sinds 2003 en nog maar hun vijfde Belgische optreden ooit! Verrassend genoeg is het niet hun eerste in Meerhout want in 1996 speelden ze hier al eens op Apollo Rock. Nu zijn ze terug. Met een nieuwe plaat en een uitgebreide playlist vol klassiekers komt Rancid zijn 20e verjaardag vieren en zijn wij verschrikkelijk trots om hen ons festival als feestje aan te kunnen bieden. We binden allemaal onze boots aan, zetten onze mohawks recht… and out come the wolves!
