Another Belgian band at Groezrock 2012: Sunpower from Opwijk. No whining about styles, combinations of hard-this and post-that for these guys. They bring old school punk in its purest form. Songs that are barely 2 minutes long, songs that bark and bite, songs that explode in your face like a hand grenade! With an urgency like Minor Treat and a little bit of weirdness like Dead Kennedys, Sunpower shows us how honest and raw real punk can be. Check this!

Nog een Belgische band op Groezrock 2012: Sunpower uit Opwijk. Voor deze gasten geen geëmmer over stijlen, combinaties van hard-dit en post-dat. Zij brengen old-school punk in de puurste vorm. Songs die amper 2 minuten lang zijn, songs die blaffen én bijten, songs die als handgranaten in je gezicht ontploffen! Met de urgency van een Minor Threat en een beetje weirdness á la Dead Kennedys weet Sunpower al jaren aan te tonen hoe eerlijk en rauw echte punk kan zijn. Check it!
