War Paint', the album released by The Dangerous Summer last year, was a small surprise to us. If you're into The Starting Line, Jimmy Eat World, The Jealous Sound, or in other words into slow poppy rock songs with a melancholic character then you'll have to check this band from Ellicott City, close to Baltimore on the US East Coast. Nice melodies, penetrating lyrics, intelligent songs, these guys have it all!

‘War Paint’, het album dat The Dangerous Summer vorig jaar uitgebracht, was voor ons een kleine verrassing. Fans van onder andere The Starting Line, Jimmy Eat World, The Jealous Sound, van slepende poppy rocksongs met een melancholische inslag moeten deze band uit Ellicott City, op een steenworp van Baltimore aan de oostkust van de VS, kennen of leren kennen. Mooie melodieën, diepgravende teksten, intelligente songs, deze jongens hebben het allemaal.
