In an effort to get some humour into the biographies we had a whole story finished ready about Unearth in which a misunderstanding lead to a piece about 'a nerd' that would be headlining the Impericon stage and hahaha, that was, hahaha, so funny, really. But we could contain ourselves just in time because Unearth is bitter, grinding, styptic and solid seriousness. Last year these guys from Massachusetts released their fifth album 'Darkness In The Light' on Metal Blade Records and with that record they confirmed what their previous album 'The March' made us expect. Unearth is now one of the biggest bands in its genre. Pure strenght and technical mastership combined with a bulldozing troath. Unearth takes its winning combination to the Impericon stage at Groezrock 2012!

In een poging om wat humor te verweven in de bio’s hadden we voor Unearth al een heel verhaal klaar waarbij een misverstand ervoor zorgde dat wij een stuk schreven over ‘a nerd’ die het Impericon-stage zou afsluiten en, hahahaha, dat was dan, hahahaha, echt wel, hahaha, grappig. Maar we konden ons net op tijd inhouden want Unearth is bittere, beenvermalende, bloedstollende en berenstevige ernst. Deze metalcore-mannen uit Massachusetts brachten vorig jaar op Metal Blade Records hun vijfde plaat ‘Darkness In The Light’ uit en bevestigden daarmee wat ze met de voorloper ervan ‘The March’ al aankondigden. Unearth is nu een van de grootste bands in het genre. Pure kracht en technisch meesterschap in combinatie met een bulldozerstrot. Unearth brengt deze winnende combinatie met verve naar het Impericon Stage van Groezrock 2012!
