Zebrahead

Aah... the dudes from Zebrahead are back. Two years ago they were hanging, chilling and rocking at our festival. They came to meet again with a part of their public which they lost a bit throughout the years. A couple of smooth records, a few world hits and some interesting contacts with the rich and famous in Hollywood, lead to the polishing of Zebrahead's sharp sides. Who knows, maybe due to their Groezrock experience they went back to their roots with the recently released 'Get Nice'. Fast and sharp punkrock songs with a poppy touch, and a lot more intense than their nice guys glamrock from 'Playmate Of The Year'. Aah... de dudes van Zebrahead zijn terug. Twee jaar geleden kwamen ze al eens hangen, chillen en rocken op ons festival. Ze kwamen vooral kennis maken met een deel van hun publiek dat ze doorheen de jaren wat kwijtraakten. Enkele gladde platen, een paar wereldwijde hits en wat interessante contacten met the rich and famous van Hollywood en omstreken later, maakten dat de scherpe kantjes van Zebraheads muziek weggeschaafd werden. Misschien was het de Groezrock-ervaring, wie weet, maar sinds kort is er een nieuw Zebrahead-album ‘Get Nice!’ uit, waarmee ze teruggrijpen naar hun roots. Snelle en scherpe punkrocksongs die best poppy zijn, maar vooral een heel pak intenser dan hun leuke-jongens-glamrock van onder andere ‘Playmate Of The Year’.
