For six years, Lewis was the lead singer of a rock band, Juliette Lewis and the Licks. Founded in 2003, the band put out three albums, toured the world and even opened for the Foo Fighters at their famous concert at Hyde Park in London, before breaking up in 2009.

In 2015, Lewis brought the band back together for a memorable show at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. Rapaport's short film, which will have its world premiere at Tribeca April 15, before being broadcast on Red Bull TV, captures the El Rey show, along with other live performances, in addition to intimate interviews with Lewis, and other collaborators, such as Dave Grohl.

"I've seen her movies and I think she's one of the best actors of our generation," says Grohl in the trailer for the film (above). "But I watch her on stage and I'm like, wow, it kind of seems like she should say, 'F--k that other stuff,' and just do this."
