Opening and closing times

1. Camping opens at 18.00 Thursday evening.
2. Camping closes at 12.00 Sunday morning.

Medical

A team of the Flemish Cross (Vlaamse Kruis) is permanently on standby. You can recognize the Vlaamse Kruis by their yellow flag with a black cross.

Lost objects

During the festival: Please check first at the Lost & Found booth next to the Info-Desk at the festival area. If it's not there, you can check at Police Reception Point.
Lost objects will be confiscated by the Meerhout police after the festival. To retrieve them contact the police directly on phone number 32(0)14/564.700 or email Politiezone Geel, Laakdal, Meerhout

Festival guide

There won't be a festival guide anymore. We're trying to use less paper.

Dangerous objects

Animals, alcohol, sticks, sharp objects, weapons and any other object that might be considered dangerous by the organisers are not allowed at the festival site.

Beverages

Beer, alcoholic drinks and other refreshments are available at the festival site. It is not allowed to bring your own drinks into the festival area. It is allowed to bring alcohol (16+) or other drinks for personal consumption to the campsite. Check out our special 24 x Cooled-Beer-Cans-Promo in our ticketshop. (More Info - Place your order)

Fires

The festival is organized on privately-owned grounds. Open fires are prohibited.

Photo/video/audio

Film, video and professional photo cameras, as well as any recording material are prohibited.

Facilities

There are toilets available at the site. They will be cleaned at regular intervals. Toilet paper is available. Urinating outside the toilets is strictly forbidden.

Illegal Drugs

The dealing in or use of illegal drugs is not condoned by GROEZROCK. It is illegal to take, to buy or to sell drugs.

Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country. If you deal in drugs it is likely that you will be arrested by the Police.

Experimenting with drugs can lead to adverse reactions. Drugs can kill. The crowd and the sheer size of the Festival can be very frightening and disorientating and taking drugs could spoil your enjoyment of the event.

If you do take drugs and you become ill, depressed or frightened please ask a steward/security to direct you to the Medical tent where they can help and support you.

Promoting your event

Posters / Banners

We will provide a large wall for posters/banners near the info booth. This booth is situated in the 24h zone along with Stage 5 and the Camping party/Breakfast tent. In this zone there’s a lot of people hanging around.

Printing of these posters/banners is not included. Agrafa can print these posters/banners at favorable prices. We need 50 posters/banners of which 35 will be placed in a visible spot. The remnant is back up for later on.

The rate for projecting a static image is €250 (taxes excl)

Flyering is still possible but you’ll have to pay a clean up fee of €200. Flyering is only permitted at the main entrance, max 10 metres behind the ticket scan. 
Flyering on the festival site, at the exit or on the public roads is strictly forbidden. Breaking this rule you will get fined.
 

There are no other options for promoting your event at Groezrock. 

Deadline for sending in your commercial/material: Saturday 20th April 12am.
You cannot mention your own sponsors or partners.

Random postering and flyering will be fined with €500

If you agree we would like to receive the option of your choice including your personal details so we can send the invoice.

Everyone needs a ticket

GROEZROCK is a festival for young and older music lovers. Unfortunately we have no facilities for the very young. GROEZROCK will advise you not to bring small children to the festival. Should you decide to bring young children after all, please bear in mind that everyone needs a ticket from the age of 13. According to the Belgian law a child under the age of 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult.

General conditions of sale

  • Size between A2 and B1 (ideal size A1)

  • 10 seconds or less: 300 euro (excl vat).
  • 20 seconds or less: 500 euro (excl vat).
  • 30 seconds (max) or less : 750 euro (excl vat).
  • Tickets are neither refunded nor exchanged for a different event.
  • The loss or theft of the festival ticket is the sole responsibility of the buyer and lost or stolen tickets are neither replaced nor refunded.
  • The ticket holder must comply with the Belgian ‘Act regarding the Sale of Entrance Tickets to Events’ (Belgian Official Journal of 30 July 2013). Rescheduling or line-up changes will under no circumstances give rise to a partial or full refund. Under no circumstances shall the organiser be liable for the interruption, discontinuation and/or cancellation of the festival due to force majeure (e.g. exceptional meteorological circumstances, illness, death or absence of an artist).
  • The only recognised ticket outlets for GROEZROCK are https://www.eventbrite.com/ . Festival and other tickets purchased on the street or on auction sites may be blacklisted and are invalid.
  • Tickets must not be used for commercial or promotional purposes or issued to a third party without the prior written consent of the organiser.
  • Ticket forgery will give rise to criminal prosecution.
  • The organiser(s) reserve(s) the right to verify the buyer’s identity at any given time.
  • Access to the festival will only be granted to the first person to present the original ticket. As a result, holders of duplicated or photocopied tickets will be refused access.
  • It is strictly prohibited to perform any promotional or commercial activities on the festival grounds without the prior written consent of the organiser. Without the written consent of the organiser, any commercial use of the name or logo of the festival or billed artists is strictly prohibited. Handing out flyers, publicity leaflets or any other type of promotional materials is prohibited.
  • The official sale of T-shirts and souvenirs is limited to the actual festival grounds.
  • Entering the venue implies acceptance of all preventive and monitoring measures the organiser or security personnel deem necessary, including potential frisking and bag searches. Festival goers who fail to comply will be ejected or refused entry.
  • There is a list of specific items that are not allowed in the festival arena, at the camping and in the 24u zone. (check the full list on www.groezrock.be). Prohibited items may be confiscated by security personnel. The festival organiser can add or remove items from the list at all times.
  • TV recordings and photos are made during the festival. As a result, visitors may be filmed. By attending the festival, visitors give their express consent for their likeness to be included in any audiovisual recording and photos to be exploited by the festival and its media partners. The festival site is subject to camera surveillance in accordance with the Act of 21 March 2007.
  • The organiser and co-organisers, if any, shall not be liable for any damages or personal injuries sustained in the festival arena, at the camping, 24u zone and in the car parks either before, during or after the festival.
  • The artists, the organiser and co-organisers and public transport company De Lijn shall not be liable for any damages, loss, theft or accidents that may occur. Additional personal arrangements involving travel, food and accommodation made on the buyer’s own initiative are at the latter’s expense. The festival shall not be liable for wasted expenditure beyond the ticket price and the associated booking fee.
